Below is a PARTIAL list of the many links and resources I’ve gathered over the last couple of years. This list primarily focuses all the hype and medical recommendations surrounding cholesterol, dietary fats, sugar and heart disease.
No claims here on the authenticity or accuracy of ANY of the below resources. However, there is growing evidence that the nutritional and medical information we’ve been receiving for the last 50+ years from the medical institutions and our government may not be accurate; and at a minimum outdated. More and more doctors, scientists and a growing body of evidence emerges on a daily basis bringing new and updated information to the public.
Knowledge is power folks, and the more we educate ourselves on health and nutrition, the better able we will be in making decisions about our diet and health.
My favorite blog is Kris Gunnars, Authority Nutrition below. His articles are short, to the point and very easy to understand for those just getting in to health and nutrition.
In no particular order:
Doctors and More Links:
Bloggers (OMG, the “Internet!)
Kris Gunnars, Auhority Nutrition: (Great blog for the lay person!):
Sugar: The Bitter Truth, Dr. Robert Ludig. (Very long and very technical, but worth it if you really want to know the science.)
